GASICS Part 7
By the time I had settled, december was starting. Rumours were circulating that this would be the first JEE Mains conducted on the pre Covid schedule ie, the first attempt would held in January.
Tensions were running high, as students had always run with the assumption it would be held in April, which would give us 4 extra months to prepare. At the beginning of Jan, all hell broke loose.
Everyone's worst fears were confirmed, the first JEE Mains attempt would be at the end of January.
What made the situation so much worse, was the news that the teachers I had just grown comfortable with, had all quit their jobs, to start a competing coaching class.
This included the physics teacher who had backed me so strongly. The world was doing a barrel roll, all of a sudden.
A lot of students from the highest batch, Wizards of Wizards( WoW) followed these teachers to their new venture. It was a confusing time. Should I stay and adapt to a new set of teachers again, or go with the teachers I liked and trusted to their new class?
The unexpected shake up pushed the admin team to schedule another test to compensate to fill the empty spots in WoW.
When I found out that I had done well enough in to get in, I made my decision. I would stay, so I could rub shoulders with the best of the best. This was the right choice to make, even though it would push me into darkest 4 months of my life(so far, atleast)
